Looking south on Offutt St. All of these houses are vacant, so it was sort of like driving through an episode of the Twilight Zone. The last time I was on this street was 37 years ago. It looks the same now, but with no one living there, it was eerily silent.

A lot less yard than what I had to mow. Apparently, Civil Engineering still has gallons of yellow and red paint left over from the 60's

A nice touch . . . too bad they paved over all the messages that classes from the 60's and early 70's painted on the road to the school.

The principal's office at Golden West. It looks pretty much the same as when I used to get my butt paddled there, but there are a lot more trees than there were in the 60's.

What happened to the chin up bars that used to be here? We always used sit and watch the "dust devils" spin the leaves around in this corner.

Who could forget the gym/cafeteria and all the sock hops we had here? The place looks like a minimum security prison now.
